Birth Control - Plastic People (1975)
Formed in Germany, Birth Control it's a somewhat strange group: they started as a instrumental jazz rock outfit, but their albums are in the vein of Deep Purple with a German touch.
Plastic People, by the way, it's a mix of progressive, hard rock, krautrock (very little), jazz/soul and
sense of humor here and there. In the title track you can hear a Tony Banks' influence in the organ sound and playing: something rare in the previous albums like the prog vein and the horns/strings/flute instruments as well.
It's a good album, not a masterpiece, but the musicianship it's glorious. You must hear it, once at least!
