Quatermass is an album by British progressive rock band, Quatermass, first released in May 1970. It has been described as "a keyboard dominated chunk of heavy progressive rock... a popular part of the eccentric Harvest label." Based around organ, bass and drums, Quatermass is regarded as a quintessential

First album recorded as Flied Egg called "Dr. Siegel's Fried Egg Shooting Machine" is surely the best record Shigeru Narumo & his friends ever done. Improvement over "When The Raven Has Come To The Earth"(recorded as Strawberry Path) is really huge. The most important is that band's leader

Flash was an English progressive rock group, formed by former Yes guitarist Peter Banks and vocalist Colin Carter in August 1971. Bassist Ray Bennett, and Mike Hough on drums completed the line-up.
The band went into the recording studio in November 1971 to record its debut album, and performed its first gig on 14 January 1972. Coincidentally, exactly one year later, on 14 January 1973, Flash would fill New York's Philharmonic Hall.

"(...) Mellow Candle (from Ireland) are near-legendary in prog folk circles (...). This was their only studio release, but every song here is a folk delight with mild psych overtones and occasionally even a little rocking out. Si on avait besoin d'une cinquième saison (If We Needed a Fifth Season), also known as Les Cinq
Saisons (The Five Seasons), is the second album by Quebec band Harmonium, released in 1975. The album marked a departure from the folk rock sound of the band's self-titled debut album towards a unique

Circus - Moving on (1977) artwork

"From Basel, Switzerland, Circus had much success in Europe, with three studio albums and a document of them in concert (which we presume to be a bootleg). Formed in 1972, Circus took time to refine and hone their style, a complex rock with jazz and classical angles, and a rather unique instrumentation. Yes, remarkably, Circus played rock music without any

Birth Control - Plastic People 1975 artwork

Formed in Germany, Birth Control it's a somewhat strange group: they started as a instrumental jazz rock outfit, but their albums are in the vein of Deep Purple with a German touch.
Plastic People, by the way, it's a mix of progressive, hard rock, krautrock (very little), jazz/soul and

The band is Nautilus, the year is the 1978, the country is Switzerland and here it is a little lost gem called 20 000 Miles Under The Sea. This band is almost ignored by the most.
This is a 1978 release, recorded in 1977, but it could be released in
