Mariani - Perpetuum Mobile (1970)
(artwork by Giorgio Mangora & Michele Zignego - Akarma edition)
In 1970 Vince Mariani made a band with a young Eric Johnson (yes, that Johnson who made cliffs of dover) and bassist/singer Jay Podolnick.
The music are in the vein of that years: psychedelic-lot-of-wahwah-acidrock style.
In my opinion, nothing to remember for what concern about the songs. It's a honest album: not terrible neither amazing. Interesting for Eric Johnson's fans.
There are good tracks and
tracks that miss the point. Most good tracks if you are a drummer or if you like drum-solo tracks, however (speaking about interludes).
